Chupacabra

The Chupacabra is a blood-sucking monster originating from Puerto Rico, however sightings spread throughout Hispanic America and the southwestern united states. it is known for attacking farm animals, at nighttime and draining them of their blood, hence its name which translates literally to “goat-sucker.”.
Its depiction varies, sometimes being depicted as a somewhat canine looking beast, while others depict it as a reptilian alien covered in spikes and walking on two kangaroo-like legs. Reports vary wildly on traits such as possession of a tail, wings, or hair/fur. However, what is consistent is that it is always bearing sharp teeth with which to hunt its prey with.
Much research has been done into whether or not the Chupacabra really exists, with most people who look into it concluding with a hard no. Most reported attacks either seem to be just from natural causes or attacks from non-supernatural animals like stray dogs, and the sightings seem to mostly be mis-identified diseased animals.
